The representatives recently announced, that the growth of Followerwonk and Moz Content was not as expected therefore decided for no future investment. Further added – that from now onward our focus will be more on core SEO that includes many factors such as tracking their website ranking, duplicate management, keyword research, on-page factors, local listings, crawl and last but not the least organic links.
Moz is planning to find a good home for Followerwonk as this service is globally used by a huge amount of people. Moz Content will be completely closed, therefore it is highly advisable to look in for alternatives in time. Moz is planning to invest a major part on core SEO with specific features with particularly focusing on local search. The company recently confirmed its passion for new development regarding search products. This all has lead to a tough decision for Moz in which they have asked 28% of its employees to leave, but they are helping out in form of severance, coaching, and finding new roles.
