Rules for .IN Pre-Registration
- Megrisoft is accepting pre-registrations for .IN domains until Feb 14, 2005, 18:00 EST.
- Upon the launch of .IN real-time registration which is currently scheduled for Feb 16, 2005, we will submit your domain registration application to the registry. We will submit registrations on a best efforts basis, and we do not guarantee successful registration.
- All registrations are to be submitted through Megrisoft Domains.
- All domains will be registered for 1-year.
- If we receive multiple pre-registrations for a particular domain, and if the domain is successfully registered upon real-time launch, the domain will be put under auction between the persons who pre-registered it. If no person is offering for more than the regular registration fee, the domain will be registered to the person who first submitted the pre-registration to us. The auction will be conducted in the Indian Rupees currency, and if you win a bid, we will convert your winning bid into USD at the rate of USD1.00=Rs45 when charging your credit card for payment.
